Senior cat Chicita waits for a second chance after heartbreaking surrender in Newark

NEWARK, NJ – A 13-year-old cat named Chicita is capturing hearts at the Associated Humane Societies shelter after being surrendered by her longtime family, leaving staff desperate to find her a quiet home to live out her golden years.
