SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — A New York woman is accused of trying to withdraw money from an alleged victim’s bank account in South Windsor while wearing a wig, according to police.
Police said just before 3 p.m. Friday, they responded to American Eagle Federal Credit Union on Buckland Road after it was reported that a woman wearing a wig attempted to withdraw $1,500 from someone’s bank account using a fake ID.

Anna Hardee, 47, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was arrested and charged with fourth-degree criminal attempt at larceny, second-degree ID theft, and second-degree forgery.
