Newark, New Jersey – Roads across northern New Jersey, the lower Hudson Valley and northern Connecticut could turn snow-covered by sunrise Sunday as a long-duration winter storm delivers up to 15 inches of accumulation and wind gusts reaching 45 mph.
According to the National Weather Service in New York, a Winter Storm Warning takes effect at 6 a.m. Sunday and continues through 6 p.m. Monday. Snow will spread in during the morning and afternoon hours Sunday, with the strongest winds expected Sunday night into Monday.
