Fake lawyers posed as judges to scam terrified immigrants out of cash, feds say

The alleged fraudsters had one-way tickets to Columbia.

But as they waited to board their plane at Newark Liberty International Airport, federal authorities swooped in and arrested them last Wednesday as part of a crackdown on a sham law firm accused of scamming vulnerable immigrants.
