Lyndhurst Officer Anthony Giaquinto was on patrol at 9:51 p.m. near 2000 Valley Brook Avenue on Jan. 10, when he saw a red 2008 Pontiac G6 traveling eastbound with one illuminated headlight, a dark-tinted windshield, dark tinted front side windows, and a tinted license plate cover, Lyndhurst Police Capt. Paul Haggerty said.
The officer conducted a motor vehicle stop near Valley Brook Avenue and Chubb Avenue. The driver, identified as Jayden L. Ramirez, refused the officer’s commands to open the passenger-side window and fled at a high rate of speed toward Disposal Road, according to Haggerty.
