This N.J. mall is so neglected a car got swallowed by a huge pothole, lawsuit says

The owners of a dying New Jersey mall are being sued after a teenager’s car fell into a sinkhole in the property’s crumbling parking lot last summer.

Kohan Retail Investment Group, which owns Livingston Mall in Essex County, is facing a lawsuit from a local mother. She says hazardous parking lot conditions caused more than $10,000 in damage to her son’s car, including repair costs and diminished resale value.
