The Bayonne Fire Department responded to a fire at EMR Metal Recycling located at 85 East 2nd St. around 6:30 PM yesterday. Firefighters used two aerial ladder pipes to extinguish the blaze, which was brought under control by 7:48 PM. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation but is not considered suspicious.
