‘Mobile Drug Shop’: K9 Finds Crack Stash Outside Lyndhurst Motel, Cops Say

Lyndhurst Officer Anthony Giaquinto was on patrol near Rutherford Avenue and Park Avenue in Lyndhurst on Saturday, March 21 at 4:34 p.m., when he saw a blue Ford Flex leaving the Winslow Motor Hotel at 204 Rutherford Avenue, Capt. Paul Haggerty said.

The vehicle had heavily tinted windows and a windshield, preventing the officer from seeing the driver, and a computer check revealed the license plate was registered to a different vehicle, Haggerty said.

Giaquinto stopped the Ford on Marginal Road just north of Rutherford Avenue into Rutherford, where he was joined by Sgt. Nicholas Abruscato, Officer Anthony Calabro, and Officer Frank Ferrandino…
