Montclair Mexican Dining Spot to Shut Down On March 28

Oso Felipe announced that it will close permanently on Saturday, March 28. The restaurant posted the news on its social media, bidding farewell after more than a year in operation.

Oso Felipe in Montclair Announced Closure

Oso Felipe at 2 Erie Street in Montclair is a Mexican restaurant. The head chef and co-owner, Damon Wise, developed the concept along with David Placek, founder and CEO of BDP Holdings.

In a social media post, the restaurant informed diners that the patio will be open on the final day, serving the regular menu alongside an all-day happy hour. Acknowledging the community support, the restaurant wrote, “We’ve loved getting to know our neighbors here on Erie Street, and we’re grateful for the support from guests, fellow business owners, and the Montclair community over the last year+.”
