The popular drama television series “The Pitt” is adding an actor who years ago made headlines while seen working at a North Jersey Trader Joe’s.
Geoffrey Owens, known for his role as Elvin Tibideaux on “The Cosby Show” will guest star in the hospital show in an episode that is set to air on April 2, according to a report from Variety.
Owens, a Montclair resident, was once spotted working at a Trader Joe’s in Clifton in 2018. Although some social media posts “job-shamed” the actor, other responses showed support to Owens as many embraced him with working-class solidarity.
