Pedestrian, driver killed in separate crashes in N.J. town

A driver and a pedestrian were killed in separate crashes three days apart in a Union County town, officials said.

A man driving east on Route 22 in Union shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday lost control of his car near Highland Avenue and struck a utility pole, township police said.
