Irvington man sentenced to 40 years in mistaken identity shooting

An Irvington man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for the fatal shooting of a man in 2021, in a case of mistaken identity.

On Feb. 5, David Parker, 23, of Irvington, was found guilty of first-degree murder, second-degree conspiracy to commit murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
