KENILWORTH – Several patrons and staff were evacuated Wednesday after a two-alarm fire destroyed a local restaurant on South Michigan Avenue, authorities said.
Police responded around 5:06 p.m. April 1 to reports of a structure fire at Crabbae restaurant on South Michigan Avenue. When officers arrived, they found an active fire near the rear of the building and immediately evacuated patrons and staff, according to police.
