Hammer-Wielding New Jersey Transit Attacker Nabbed By US Marshals After Month On The Run

Authorities have ended a month-long manhunt for a man accused of a brutal hammer attack on a New Jersey Transit train. This morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, alongside NJ Transit Police, apprehended 29-year-old Anthony Robinson at the Booker T. Washington Houses in Jersey City.

The arrest stems from a violent encounter at the MLK Light Rail Station in Jersey City. According to officials, a man was struck with a hammer during the assault, resulting in serious injuries.
