DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Morris County) — A Union County man was charged with drug and traffic offenses following a motor vehicle stop early April 5 in Denville, police said.
Officers were patrolling Route 10 West around 12:50 a.m. when they observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane and operating with an inoperable brake light, authorities said. A traffic stop was conducted based on those violations.
During the stop, the driver was identified as Leonard Nellinger, 68, of Summit. Following a brief roadside investigation, officers determined he was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance and drug paraphernalia, police said…
