Two Jersey City police officers arrested suspects in two separate shooting incidents during one shift yesterday, officials announced Friday.
“These arrests show the value of intelligence-driven policing and the importance of officers who are actively working to prevent further violence before it happens,” Mayor James Solomon said in a statement.
“This level of targeted enforcement, strong investigative follow-through, and coordination with law enforcement partners removes dangerous individuals from our streets and supports accountability for violent crime.”
