NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A man has been displaced following a residential fire in the 12900 block of Nettles Drive Thursday afternoon, according to the Newport News Fire Department.
Firefighters were first dispatched at 4:29 p.m. following reports of a fire, with the first unit arriving on scene at 4:31 p.m.
Officials say the fire was put out within 15 to 20 minutes after the arrival of the first firefighters.
