NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The American Red Cross is assisting two adults and two children after a residential fire in the 800 block of East 28th Street on Saturday.
Fire crews responded to the reported fire at 11:35 p.m. The fire began outside the home and quickly went up the wall of the two-story residence and into the attic, according Stephanie Lenhart, spokesperson for Norfolk-Fire Rescue.
Crews checked the structure to look for hidden fire. A nearby residence was also damaged. The fire was brought under control at 12:26 a.m. on Sunday. No one was injured…
