NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A motorcyclist is dead after a crash near Warwick Boulevard and Boxley Boulevard in Newport News Wednesday morning, according to the Newport News Police Department.
At around 9:58 a.m. on Aug. 26, Newport News Police responded to a reported motorcycle crash near Warwick Boulevard and Boxley Boulevard.
The preliminary investigation uncovered that a woman on a motorcycle was traveling southbound on Warwick Boulevard past the intersection of Boxley Boulevard when her motorcycle left the roadway, struck a curb and then hit a fire hydrant.
