NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Construction will begin this month tocreate new westbound on-and off-ramps at Denbigh Boulevard through a two-phase project, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
Starting as early as Aug. 31, crews are scheduled to implement a long-term full closure of the connector road between Pagewood Drive and Denbigh Boulevard Service Road.
Phase one of the project will construct westbound interstate on- and off-ramps for the future diamond interchange at Denbigh Boulevard. During this phase, crews will also make improvements at the Denbigh Boulevard intersections with Warwick Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue…
