NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A woman has died after being shot in Newport News, police say.
On September 8, officers were called to the 6300 block of Grossman Place just before 8 a.m. for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they found 34-year-old Naadirah Sheri Fussell suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
