NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A man was arrested in connection to a hit-and-run in Newport News Tuesday evening.
Officers were called to the intersection of 35th Street and Jefferson Avenue just after 6 p.m. for the report of a two-vehicle crash. As a result, police arrested one of the drivers, 35-year-old Matthew Hill.
Hill faces the following charges:
- DWI
- Eluding law enforcement
- Hit-and-run
- DWI-refusal of blood or breath test
Police did not confirm if anyone was injured during this crash…
