HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – The King Street Bridge and gate at Langley Air Force Base will close to all vehicular and foot traffic starting Oct. 26, 2026, to accommodate a planned infrastructure maintenance project.
During the closure, all access to the military installation will be rerouted through LaSalle and Armistead avenues. The bridge and gate are expected to remain closed until construction is completed next year. There is no estimated reopening date at this time.
