Police are looking for a man in connection to a recent shooting that left one man dead and another injured.

On Jan. 24 around 12:30 a.m., Portsmouth police say they responded to Maryview Hospital for a walk-in gunshot wound.

Police say two men who had been shot walked into the hospital: 37-year-old Johnny Burden and 34-year-old Jerome Hunter. Burden died at the hospital and Hunter is still recovering, according to police.

Hunter told officers that his car was shot at on 164 E./Towne Point Rd, according to police.

Now, police say they’re looking for 19-year-old Requan Faison. Officers say he was in the car that took Burden and Hunter to the hospital, and he was seen running out of the car when the two were walking in.

Police say they want to speak with Faison to learn more about the shooting.
