ISLE OF WIGHT COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Three people were displaced by a fire that damaged a home in Isle of Wight County Monday afternoon, the county’s fire chief said. Around 4:54 p.m., fire crews from Smithfield, Rushmere and Carrollton responded to a fire on White House Road and, when they arrived, they found heavy fire through the roof, according to Isle of Wight Fire Chief Garry Windley.
