Transgender Students In Virginia File Lawsuit Against School Guidance

Irishmegaphone – The state of Virginia is being sued by two transgender students who say the state’s public school guidance breaks a law from the Education Department. Last year, Gov. These lawsuits argue that the guidance contradicts the 2020 law passed by former Gov. Ralph Northam, which obligated the Education Department to implement policies ensuring the prevention of discrimination and harassment against transgender students.
