ARLINGTON, Va. – It seems Lucky Dog Animal Shelter in Arlington really is lucky. The shelter just got a $125,000 donation from PetSmart to support its pet transport program. Officials say transporting animals involves moving them from areas of animal overpopulation to those in high demand for adoptable pets, so that they have a better chance of finding their forever home.
