HAMPTON, Va. – The City of Hampton is reminding drivers that a traffic shift on I-64 begins Sunday. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) said eastbound and westbound traffic on I-64 will shift toward the median between Armistead Avenue and Rip Rap Road. The shift will allow for continuing roadway work, drainage improvements, barrier setting, and noise barrier construction.
