NNPD seek help identifying suspect in Bojangles robbery

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — The Newport News Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a robbery back in August.

On Thursday, Aug. 29, police responded to a report of an armed individual at the Bojangles in the 12400 block of Warwick Boulevard at approximately 4:25 p.m.

Witnesses reported the suspect entered the restaurant, proceeded to the restroom, exited with a red mask covering his face, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register before leaving.

The suspect is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall with a skinny build.
