Update: 6:30 p.m.: Flights have resumed
Some departures and arrivals were halted at Norfolk International Airport Sunday afternoon after a private aircraft’s landing gear collapsed.
Three people were aboard the aircraft and have no injuries, according to airport officials. The Velocity aircraft came to a stop partially on the runway.
At this times all flights at ORF are halted until it can safely be moved off the runway. Some commercial flights will be delayed or diverted.
