NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Newport News police are conducting a homicide investigation on Saturday afternoon.
Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Marshall Avenue at 3:34 p.m. Saturday, according to a press release from Newport News Police Department. They found a woman inside a residence who was pronounced deceased by medics at 3:34 p.m. The cause of death is still being investigated.
Detectives are canvassing the area, and forensics is on scene. There is no suspect information at this time…
