YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Members of York County Fire and Life Safety responded to a fire in the Grafton area Thursday night.
According to officials, crews were called to the 100 block of Cavalier Drive at 11:30 p.m. for the report of a residential structure fire. When crews arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke conditions at the residence.
The two occupants had evacuated the home prior to firefighters arrival but required medical treatment. They were taken to Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital with non-life-threatening conditions.
