HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – A two-vehicle crash on I-64 in Hampton early Thursday morning impacted traffic for almost two hours.
Virginia State Police confirmed they were called to the crash scene around 5:30 a.m. on I-64 westbound at Armistead Avenue. The crash was in the construction work zone between the barrier walls.
State police said the damage to the vehicles rendered them inoperable. They had to be towed away. There were no serious injuries reported.
