3 adults, dog, displaced following residential fire in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Three adults and a dog were displaced following a residential fire in the 800 block of Evelyn Way, according to the Chesapeake Fire Department.

Firefighters responded to the fire around 1:21 a.m. and noticed smoke from the roof of the residence. The fire was marked under control around 2:03 a.m.

The adults and dog got out of the house before personnel arrived. Two adults are handing their lodging arrangements, while one person and their dog are being assisted by Red Cross…
