CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A suspect was taken into custody Tuesday evening after the Chesapeake SWAT team was activated to the 1300 block of Canal Drive at the Marina Point Apartments, according to Chesapeake police.
CPD says the SWAT team was activated around 3 p.m. as part of a long-term investigation, which is still ongoing.
