NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A man was shot and killed on Traverse Road Monday afternoon Newport News Police said.
Officers responded around 3 p.m. to the zero block of Traverse Lane, where officers found a man inside a car who had been shot at least once, police said. His injuries were deemed to be life-threatening, and he was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
