Description: The building faces north and is a two story red colored brick and concrete structure. The building is located on spacious landscaped grounds in the center of Surry. The north front has a large porch with six white colored columns rising to a wide header with entablature at the roof line. The windows are arched. A projecting cornice runs below the roof line cornice. In the interior, the main courtroom is located on the second story and has the original judge’s bench which is contained in a recessed arch.
