WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — Looking for the perfect day to ride a roller coaster? Maybe Saturday should be that day!
August 16 is National Roller Coaster Day, and theme parks from all over are celebrating, including Busch Gardens Williamsburg.
Busch Gardens says it is offering several special events to celebrate the special day:
- Member-Exclusive After-Hours Event: Busch Gardens members can experience a one-of-a-kind, exclusive event to celebrate National Roller Coaster Day. From 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., members can enjoy nighttime rides on attractions like Apollo’s Chariot, Pantheon, and Tempesto.
- Ultimate Roller Coaster Insider Tour: Available for one day only, this behind-the-scenes tour is designed with coaster enthusiasts in mind. This tour features an inside look at The Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge, a picnic lunch with Park President Kevin Lembke, and more. Spots are limited and can be purchased online here.
- End of Summer Sale: For a limited time, guests can take advantage of the End of Summer Sale and save up to $155 on memberships, plus additional savings on tickets and Fun Cards. Members get exclusive perks like free parking, up to eight free guest tickets, VIP events, merchandise discounts, and early access to new attractions.
