NORFOLK, Va. — A federal jury convicted a man Tuesday in connection with a 2024 armed robbery and related crimes, the Department of Justice announced.
27-year-old Janathian Porter, also known as Frankboy Nate, Nate, or Nate Dog, was found guilty of conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery. Porter also pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of ammunition.
According to court records, Porter and 26-year-old Leonra Douglas set up a marijuana deal on Oct. 28, 2024. During the meeting, Porter robbed the dealer at gunpoint, taking the victim’s firearm. Both Porter and Douglas fled in separate vehicles…
