Two Virginians woke up Thursday morning as millionaires, after two winning tickets were sold in the Powerball lottery in Spotsylvania and Carrollton.
As the Barenaked Ladies tune goes, the winner might buy a house, a nice automobile, a tree fort in your yard, an exotic pet, maybe a monkey, and even some art, a Picasso or a Garfunkel. They might even buy a zero-turn lawn mower that a recent lottery winner said they planned to splurge on.
The Northern Virginia winning ticket is worth $2 million; and the Hampton Roads/Isle of Wight County ticket won $1 million, according to Virginia Lottery officials…
