WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Williamsburg, also known as the Pancake Capital of the World, is getting ready for its first-ever Pancake Festival this September.
The festival, which is set to take place Sept. 26-27, will feature food, live entertainment and family-friendly fun.
According to a release, Williamsburg is considered the Pancake Capital of the World due to the vast amount of pancake house restaurant options available in the area compared to other towns.
