Portsmouth Public Schools offering free telehealth counseling options for students

PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth Public Schools is taking steps to ensure the mental health of its students is top of mind.

The school division is partnering with a telehealth company to offer free counseling sessions for secondary students. The partnership between Hazel Health and Portsmouth Public Schools launched on Tuesday in four schools within Portsmouth Public Schools.
