NORFOLK, Va. — For 11-year-old Guillermo “Big G” Cuellar III, building with Lego bricks became more than a hobby — it was a way to escape the pain and uncertainty of brain cancer treatment.
Big G, who was diagnosed with hydrocephalus and underwent chemotherapy at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, found peace in the small, colorful creations that filled his hospital room.
