The man accused of killing another man in a shooting at Patrick Henry Mall on Saturday claimed he acted in self-defense, according to court documents obtained by News 3. However, investigators say surveillance video shows the suspect disarming the man before shooting him multiple times.
Gary Carlton Moore III, 26, of Newport News, is charged with second-degree murder and multiple firearm-related offenses. He’s accused of shooting 26-year-old Diamante Tre’von Neal, also from Newport News.
