Hampton woman charged after I-64 crash injures driver in Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — A Hampton woman is facing charges after a two-vehicle crash that caused serious injuries Tuesday afternoon.

The two-vehicle crash happened just after noon on Interstate 64 westbound near J. Clyde Morris Boulevard in Newport News, according to a Virginia State Police spokesperson.

Traffic was slowing for a separate crash when a Toyota Camry struck the back of a Ford Ranger, causing the Ranger to drift to the left and hit the jersey wall and traffic barrels…
