Wakefield, VA — Central and eastern Virginia will see two opportunities for light snow this weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Wakefield. While neither system is expected to produce significant accumulation, both could briefly affect travel—especially during the morning hours.
A fast-moving clipper system today (Friday) is spreading areas of light snow across the Piedmont and western portions of the region. Forecasters expect accumulations of less than one inch, with many locations seeing only a dusting.
