HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY)– A driver has died following a crash on the interstate in Hampton Monday morning.
According to state police, the crash occurred on Interstate 664 near exit 2 around 9 a.m. Police say 22-year-old Andre L. Yeager Jr. of Chesapeake was traveling in a 2020 Volkswagen at a high rate of speed when he lost control in lane one, crossed all lanes of travel and went of the right side of the interstate, striking a tree and culvert pipe.
Yeager was pronounced dead at the scene…
