NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — An 84-year-old man has been charged after bringing a firearm to Riverside Regional Medical Center and threatening to shoot it, Newport News police said.
Newport News police said they were called to the hospital around 10:05 a.m. Friday morning. They found the suspect, James Cogdell, and located a firearm on his person. Cogdell was taken into custody without incident.
