Scott Segreaves, Jr., a 20-year-old Zuni, Virginia resident killed in a crash on Friday, Oct. 18, 2024after being pursued by Staff Sergeant Nicholas Pryszlak, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.
At 10:24 p.m., Segreaves was driving on Walter Street in Milford Borough when Pryszlak attempted to catch up to his vehicle in connection with a speeding violation, Platkin said.
Pryszlak activated his lights and sirens and followed Segreaves, reaching speeds of 73 mph, as Seagreaves continued to drive his vehicle, Platkin said. About 45 seconds later, Pryszlak lost sight of Segreaves’ vehicle, deactivated his vehicle’s lights and sirens, and slowed down to approximately 23 mph, Platkin said.
