HAMPTON, Va. — Hampton will soon be home to a taste of Philadelphia. Geno’s Steaks, one of the city’s most famous cheesesteak spots, is opening its first Virginia location at Power Plant Hampton Roads in January.
The new restaurant will be located between PBR Hampton and Bass Pro Shops. Officials on Tuesday announced it will open on Jan. 8, 2026. The first 100 people in line will get a free cheesesteak.
Geno’s will serve its classic menu of cheesesteaks, Italian hoagies, and other favorites for lunch and dinner daily. The family-friendly restaurant will also feature a full-service bar with beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks…
